In short
- To open our free cutoff ebooks we ask for your name, mobile number, home state and, if you wish, your email.
- We record how you use the ebooks (which ebooks, filters and searches, and any rank you type in) so our counsellors can advise you better.
- Our counsellors may call, WhatsApp or SMS you about medical admissions counselling.
- We never sell your details, and we don't give them to other colleges or companies for their marketing.
1. Who we are
This website and its ebooks are run by I3C - Information cum Career Counselling Center ("ICCC Bharat", "we", "us"). ICCC Bharat provides admissions counselling for NEET UG, NEET PG, NEET MDS and related courses. For this policy we are the "Data Fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
This policy covers the ebook library at ebooks.icccbharat.org and the sign-up form inside our ebooks.
2. What we collect
Details you type in
- Full name
- Mobile number
- Home state
- Email address (optional)
Details recorded when you use the ebooks
- Which ebook you opened, and the course it covers (for example NEET PG)
- How you used it: how long you spent on it, how far you scrolled, the filters you chose (for example course, category, seat type, branch, maximum fee), the words you searched for, and whether you used the list or the compare view
- The rank you type into the rank box (for example "My NEET PG AIR"), if you use it
- Whether you opened "Contact us", tapped a call number or tapped WhatsApp
- The page address and the date and time
If you use an ebook before filling the form, this record of that visit is kept in your browser and sent to us together with your details when you fill the form.
We do not ask for your marks, Aadhaar, payment details or any documents through the ebooks. Typing your rank into the rank box is up to you. If you share your rank or other details with a counsellor on a call or WhatsApp, we use them only to counsel you.
3. Why we use it
- To open the ebooks for you. Your details are saved in your own browser so you don't have to fill the form again on this device.
- To contact you by phone call, WhatsApp, SMS or email about admissions counselling, college options, counselling dates and our services.
- To answer your questions when you contact us.
- So that our counsellors know which colleges, courses and fees you are looking at (and your rank, if you typed it) before they speak to you, and can give you advice that fits you.
- To understand which ebooks are useful, so we can improve them.
We use your details only for these purposes. When you submit the form you agree (consent) to this use. You can take back that consent at any time (see section 7).
4. Who can see your details
- Our team: ICCC Bharat counsellors and staff who need them to help you.
- Service providers who work for us: Google (the form details are stored in a Google Sheet in our Google account, and the page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts), our website host, and the phone, WhatsApp and SMS services we use to reach you. They may only use your details to provide their service to us.
- When the law requires it: for example, a valid request from a court or government authority.
We do not sell your details. We do not share them with colleges, other counselling agencies or advertisers.
Some of these service providers may store data on servers outside India. We use only well-known providers and allow this only as far as Indian law permits.
5. Saved in your browser
After you fill the form, your name, mobile number, state and email are saved in your browser's local storage on that device, so every ICCC Bharat ebook opens straight away. A short record of an ebook visit made before you fill the form is also kept there until it is sent with the form. This stays on your device; it is not an advertising cookie and we don't use it to follow you on other websites. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your details for up to 3 years after your last contact with us, because admissions counselling often runs across more than one year (for example from NEET UG to NEET PG). After that, or sooner if you ask us to delete them, we delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
7. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- Ask what we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correct or update your details.
- Ask us to delete your details.
- Take back your consent, for example "please stop calling me". We will stop contacting you and delete your details unless the law requires us to keep them.
- Raise a complaint with us (section 9), and if you are not satisfied, with the Data Protection Board of India.
- Nominate a person to use these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
To use any of these rights, write to i3cadm@gmail.com from the email or mention the mobile number you gave us. We reply within 7 days. Taking back consent is as easy as giving it, and it doesn't affect anything we did before.
8. Students under 18
Our ebooks are meant for NEET candidates and their parents. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to fill the form for you. If we learn that we hold the details of someone under 18 without a parent's consent, we will delete them.

10. Keeping your details safe
We store form details in a Google account that only authorised ICCC Bharat staff can open, and the website is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your details, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your details, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is important, we will ask for your consent again before using your details in the new way.
